Tournament Rules
== Games will be played on the night scheduled for each round.
== Clocks will start at or before 7.45 p.m. on the night.
== Players can receive a maximum of two half-point byes during the tournament. No byes will be given in the final round.
== The default time for all tournament games at The Gap Chess Club is 30 minutes (as per article 6.7.1 of FIDE Laws of Chess 2018).
Tie-Breaks
Places will be decided by points, then Buchholz tie-breaks, as represented in the Swiss Perfect pairing program (Vega). If players tie for first place, the title is shared.
