Biggest Upsets -- Tournament Winners

1997 Stuart Wilson Trophy -- Colin Schofield - won this tournament in a play-off after a 3-way tie for first. He started as the 6th seed in a field of 16. Colin had never previously won a tournament in 8 years at the club.

1999 Flood Cup -- Mark Winn -- won a 3-way play-off against Nathan Davidson and Eddie Ottschoffski. Going into the play-off, he had lost at his previous 3 encounters against both of these players.

2000 Flood Cup -- Luke Murray - equal 1st with Brian Thomas -- in his previous rated club tournament, the 1999 Stuart Wilson Trophy, he had won 1 and lost 5 games. Year 2000 saw very rapid improvement in this junior player (14-y-o) who managed to win the Maiden Trophy as well as a share in the Flood Cup.
