Round 6 was brought forward a week, because with four
players giving early advice of their absence it was possible to determine Round
6 would be a better fit for the other six players.
All games were over between
Brian had the better of the early stages of his game
with Cameron who came back to win with the odd pawn advantage in a rook
endgame.
Peter played solidly if unadventurously to remain even
until a mistake at Move 27 allowed a knight fork on rook and queen which Peter
inexplicably responded to by gifting his queen.
