De Vere won his final game to complete a picket fence
result in the Flood Cup.
He
also won the Handicap Trophy with this win.
Mark
Pendrith followed up his win over Brian with another
upset win over seasoned
Had
Cameron lost tonight, Mark’s win would have won his the Handicap trophy.
Tonight
the club also said farewell to Evgeny who had played
with us on Friday night’s for the past few months.
The
club wishes him well and a safe trip back to
Marty
Chadwick and Debbie Jenkins visited the club tonight to play social chess.
Their
presence livened up the club a lot, and they showed they can still play a mean
game of chess also!
