The most remarkable set of games tonight were those between Brian and Shane.

In their first game, Brian had an overwhelmingly winning position.

Shane having just a smidgeon of a chance of a king and rook mate if Brian was inattentive.

Instead of being inattentive, Brian made a bizarre illegal move and lost the game!

Brian clawed his way back and had a slight advantage in the second game, but ended up having to be satisfied with a draw.
