Marcus Porter 1997-2015
The loss of Marcus Porter has deeply affected members of our club.
Please read the club’s tribute to Marcus which includes photos of him during his time with us.

Marcus will be missed by all of us, and never forgotten, and our club will be creating a new tournament in his honour – details will be advised in due course.
Stuart Wilson Trophy
The chess tonight was completely overshadowed by events that followed in the early hours.
The club has decided tonight’s results will be cancelled (although they will be added to the ACF rating submission).
The Stuart Wilson Trophy tournament will commence anew next Friday night, with a fresh draw to be issued during the week for Round One.
