Report – 7 March 2014
St David’s Day Tournament
The tournament was decided tonight by Brian’s final round victory over Peter Hiller, which saw him stay in front of Martin on handicap.
Brian thereby became the first player to retain the St David’s Day trophy, and the first player to win it twice.
Those representing the Welsh triumphed once again, Ray becoming enrolled to the cause only after threatening a rendition of “Men Of Harlech”.
