Four games were played tonight with Tony making a return to the winners list against Martin.
Jim had the better of Andrew for much of the game but was unable to convert his positional advantage to win.
The club welcomed new player Ryan Oh to the chess club.
Also in attendance was his chess coach Debbie Jenkins, a regular of the club in days gone by.
In addition, Gary Sands and Peter Hiller were also present, so there was a good social chess atmosphere tonight in Room B6 while the competition play was happening next door in the tournament room.
