Three games were played tonight, two of which saw the underdog prevail.
Brian was the first player to win his game, it all being over by 9pm. Martin said he was over-adventurous and his game came badly unstuck.
Greg obtained the advantage of the exchange and Jim was slowly clawing his way back until he miscalculated a mating combination.
Ray appeared over-eager for a draw and tried to bottle the game up in the middle, but then played too passively and allowed Andrew a winning combination of moves.
