Lightning Tournament
Marcus took a good lead into week two, winning all of his games on the first night of play except against Shane.
Many games were decided my illegal moves, some comical which led to groans from the offending players. Typical examples included bishops moving diagonally but ending one square off (Brian S in a winning position against Andrew) and errant knight moves (Brian W against Andrew).
Ray found the tournament hard going and pulled out after seven rounds, leaving a bye for the rest of the tournament.
