The play-off for first place resulted in a draw, perhaps the most likely result from two players with a poor history in play-off situations.
Andrew held the advantage for most of the game, and missed a chance to win Kieran's isolated d pawn at move 21, overlooking one of the scenarios.
By move 25 all pieces were bearing down on this isolated pawn, but rather than accept the fact that the position was drawn, Andrew pushed fate by pushing an ill-advised pawn. He was fortunate that Kieran had 1:40 minutes left on her clock, not enough time in her estimation to use a pawn advantage to push for a win. Kieran accepted the draw offer after the following move.

Unfortunately Greg fell into an unlaid trap and was forced to lose his Queen for a Bishop. As I failed to make my normal blunders, not even failing to adequately defend against a devious mating attack, I was able to grind out a win.
