Annual General Meeting

 

Five members and two proxies were enough to just achieve a quorum for the AGM.

 

The only change relating to chess was the introduction of a 30 minute forfeit time for all tournament games.

 

There were two notable attempts to attend the AGM:

• Cameron arrived all hot and sweaty 15 minutes after the meeting had finished. He was still able to partake of the after-meeting social conviviality.
• Brian went to the club rooms (forgetting that the AGM was on) and failed to see the re-direct sign on the door that Ray went to so much effort to install.
