Nathan had a won game from the moment Andrew gave away a key pawn in the middle of the board. He systematically proceeded to press home his advantage, something he failed to do in the corresponding fixture of last year’s 45 Minute tournament.
This was Nathan’s first tournament victory, and he showed the sort of form that will put him up with the main contenders in 2009.
