Interclub v Northside Chess Club
The Gap travelled to Nundah State School and was able to field a close to full strength team to win convincingly on all boards except for board 7. Part of The Gap’s cunning strategy was to offer Northside the services of Brian, since we had nine players and they had seven.
The night went well in a social sense as well as seeing some good chess played, and many social games were played after the main hostilities ceased. We look forward to welcoming Northside CC back to our club for an interclub night next year.
