One Hour tournament 2003 results in detail

Quote of the night:

As often happens, J Hiller hogs the limelight again this week…

“I resign”

- J Hiller, before his game tonight with George had commenced

“I’ll be making no illegal moves during this game”

- G Flitcroft-Smith, presumably referring to some incidents in their controversy-laden matches of last year

“Do you have to be so ruthless”

- J Hiller, during his game with George

“Well at least I fought it out to the end”

- J Hiller, after his game with George

Also the following post-match exchange:

James: “Did I give you something to think about early on?”

George: “Err ahh,…. I don’t wish to be mean, umm… but, no.”

Transfer

Five games of transfer were played tonight with both new player Simon and Gavin playing very well, showing they will be great transfer players in the future. Andrew & Simon teamed up to win the decider to take the series 3-2 over George and Gavin, much to the surprise and excitement of the large crowd gathered to watch (note: some of this commentary is hyperbole).
