Secretary's Report

The new premises, rooms B4, B5 and B6 of The Gap State High School have been successfully utilised by the club. The extra room space has been welcome.

The club is ever expanding as new members join on a regular basis. We welcome all new members in 2006 and hope their experience is enjoyable and rewarding.

This year the club has been involved in a number of interclub friendly matches. In particular, Bullwinkle have visited a few times to put our skills to the test. We welcome these challenges as opportunities to expand our chess experience.
