Colours

Add numbers next to the players’ names.

• If odd, the lower numbered player is white (low = 1; high = 6)
• If even, the higher numbered player is white

 

Tie-break for players equal on points at the end of the group stage.

• If two players are tied (for first or second place), a play-off occurs with colours reversed from the group stage. If the play-off game is drawn, the player with black in the play-off game progresses.
• If three or more players are tied, players will be selected by drawing of lots (1-2-3). Two play-off games will occur and be decided as described above for two players. First 2v3, then 1v(winner of 2v3 - who will have opposite colour in this game from the previous game).
