Report – 3 July 2015

Casual chess / Transfer chess

A good attendance for a non-tournament night saw nine player come along.

Joe Curtain played some good chess against Andrew Robinson and Ray Adams.

Metin played blitz chess against allcomers, including Andrew, Peter Hiller and Brian Willcock, with a fair measure of success.

After Nick finished his tournament game, he joined in the Transfer Chess that also included Andrew, Metin and Peter, plus James Hiller after his late appearance.

Tonight’s transfer chess was played according to the traditional club rules, with the single exception that checkmate could not be achieved by placing a captured piece on the board.
