Allegro Tournament

Two new player came to the club tonight, Tom Humphreys and James Parker.

In tournament games, Martin felt he was playing at 1800 level as he won both games against Russell who had been in hot form last Friday night.

Against Andrew, Martin seems to maintain this form and dominated the first game. He had a rook and bishop against two bishop, but then his king was unexpected checkmated in the middle of the board.

In the second game Martin seemed destined to go a piece down after about 15 moves and resigned on the spot.
