Stuart Wilson Trophy

Results:

Greg Colwell 1 John Ryland 0 (Round 8)

Martin Laizans 1 Brian Willcock 0 (Round 11)

Tony Howes 1 Marcus Porter 0 (Round 12)

Three games were played tonight, two of which were decided by queens mislaid at move 13.

Greg and Martin promoted their cause to win the Maiden trophy component of this tournament with strong wins.

Tony, the only player not to receive a bargain priced queen tonight, continued to power his way through this tournament, maintaining his perfect record. If Tony wins with a picket fence he will be the first player to do so in this tournament since 2002.
