Results:
Jim Petrie ½ Andrew Robinson (Round 7)
Martin Laizans ½ Jack Badenhorst ½ (Round 9)
Two games ended with quite lengthy complicated draws.
Andrew had a bishop and knight against a rook, but with a two pawn deficit decided to force a repetition to which Jim readily acceded to.
Jack finished the game thinking a draw was a fair result, but had the unfortunate experience (hated by all chess players) of being shown after the game by his opponent where he missed a winning opportunity.
