Flood Cup

Jim played well to grab the initiative with a crude but effective assault. Andrew closed up to prevent disaster but this limited opportunities later on and a draw was the inevitable result.
Six players from the Flood Cup were present tonight: Andrew, Jim, Ray, James, Kieran and Russell. All agreed in principle to a change of time controls for the Flood Cup to 60/30. Tonight’s game was consequently played using this time control. A vote will occur mid week to determine if most members support this time control change. (Refer to News 19 March 2010 for the result of this vote).
