Greg Colwell & Brian Willcock vs Mark Taylor – Mark  forfeited 2-0

Play-off for first place

Nathan Shaw 1 Andrew Robinson 0

Nathan continued his recent winning run with two wins against Greg to propel him into a single game play-off against Andrew. Nathan selected the correct pawn to play with white and then dominated the game. Andrew unusually lost track of the time and was only alerted to his imminent flag fall when Ray interrupted. However this was not enough and Nathan eventually won on time in a game in which he held a marginal advantage.

Mark accounted for James in two games of opportunities for both players. James had obviously done his dash because Greg proceeded to demolish him in his final two games.
