Stuart Wilson Trophy

Round 7 results:

Ray Adams 0 Kieran Lyons 1 (played 14 August)

Nathan Shaw v Andrew Robinson – postponed to Sept 11

Cameron De Vere 1 Tony Howes 0

Gary Sands BYE

Greg Colwell 0 Brian Willcock 1

Russell Lyons BYE

Two games played tonight. Cameron beat Tony using the London system that we have been hearing so much about lately. Tony admitted that his position was futile after about move five or six.

Brian managed to get the better of Greg in the other game, leading him to ask if he had achieved the longest run without a draw or a win. Several voices announced “Hiller” in unison.

Tonight was notable for the drop in appearance of Phillip Kirkman, still residing in London but paying his annual visit to the Antipodes.
