There was no tournament play tonight. Nine players were in attendance, including Dusan Smrek and two new players to the club.
The new players were Brendan Griffen who has played at the Brisbane and University Chess Clubs, and Culley who has attended the Hardgrave Road café at West End. Brendan was able to update some of us on the recent fortunes of the University Chess Club which was followed with interest by those present.
