Greg Colwell 0 Cameron De Vere 1

Tonight was good news for players with black pieces with six wins and a draw achieved by them. The draw was not such good news and it meant Gordon missed out on topping Group B. This game was reminiscent of the 2001 Flood Cup game between Andrew & Gabby in which Andrew requiring only a draw, saw a way to close up the game and took it. He will play Brian Thomas who won the virtual Group A play-off with Brian Willcock.

Tim advised the DOP that due to other commitments he is unable to complete his remaining games. Therefore his three played games will be removed from the final crosstable as they constitute less than 50% of his games.
