Flood Cup

Round 2 results:

Harvey Quaresmini 1 Tony Howes 0

Andrew Robinson 1 Ray Adams 0

Stuart Holt 0 George Flitcroft-Smith 1

Garvin Gray 0 Steve Quick 1 (forfeit)

Brian Willcock 1 Marty Chadwick 0

Stefan Harmat 0 Debbie Jenkins 1

James Hiller vs Peter Hiller (to be played 12 March)

John Curran 1 Stuart Wilson 0 (played 20 Feb)

Four players remain undefeated after two rounds. Harvey and George extended their unbeaten run in Gap CC tournament games to 16 and 15 games respectively with wins against strong opponents who may yet figure in deciding the eventual winner of this tournament. Ray had any advantage in the opening but let this slip so that Andrew gained the momentum and pushed for a win. Debbie and Brian won their respective games to each notch their first win of the tournament.

Garvin Gray has advised the DOP that he has withdrawn from the Flood Cup for personal reasons. This means there are 15 players which will necessitate a bye in each round (unless there is another withdrawal).
