Interclub

The Gap club won all 5 games against the visiting side comprising of old club stalwart Ray Adams and 4 of his friends from the BCF.  Despite the one-sidedness of the result, a whitewash it certainly was not.  All games were hotly contested and a few went right down to the wire.  Time controls were 90 minutes on the clock to make all moves.

Transfer

A few games were played with James having an amazing run of success, unparalleled in anything that had gone before.  At one stage he was involved in 4 successful pairings.  Two of the BCF visitors, Luke and Brendan (a transfer novice) stayed for a few transfer games, and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time.  While the results were shared around and everyone had a few wins, James seemed be involved in a disproportional number of winning pairings.  Has the tide turned??
